#100 - Movie Mini-Review - But I'm a Cheerleader

Short review this time. I'm realizing that blogging about 764 movies (600 Netflix plus 164 remaining Oscar winners - not accounting for overlaps) over 1001 days is going to be a tough slog.

So, new style for occasional use. TK's Five Thoughts on But I'm a Cheerleader.

1) I thought this would be better. Needed more oomph. Not enough punchs per minute.
2) Cute believable love story - good performances - Natasha Lyonne and Clea Duvall.
3) Sounds trite, but since being a teenager generally is rough, adding sexual identity confusion on top of that must be hell. Wonder how my parents might have handled my coming out.
4) Rent Slums of Beverly Hills instead.
5) Reminds me of a Heinlein quote: "Sin lies only in hurting other people unnecessarily." [emphasis mine]

Bottom Line: Meh. But I'm a Cheerleader get 2.5 TKs out of 5.

Favorite quote: Foreplay is for 'sissies'!
